All aboard the international cruise of flavors.......This crazy cruise ship has embarked upon a world tour, with curious and hungry cachers aboard. The itinerary is every country in the world, one restaurant at a time, all without leaving the confines of Central NJ. 43rd Stop ... Argentina!

Enjoy delicious food and good company as this wacky cruise ship voyages to South America to Argentina!

Argentina is a large and very developed country that produces and exports many different foods, including beef, grains, and wine.  Argentina is particularly famous for its wine and its beef. The asado, an elaborate meal of grilled meat, is one of the most important culinary traditions in this country

Argentina's cuisine is very influenced by Europe, and includes many Spanish-style dishes, Italian pastas and pizzas, and French pastries. The Argentinians add their unique style to these dishes, however, making them their own.

Beef stew from Argentina is slightly unusual but quite delicious. Dried fruits (apricots or raisins) sweeten the stew, as do the sweet potatoes. Tomatoes and onions, winter squash, and hearty chunks of beef round off the complex flavor of this wonderful stew. Carbonada criolla is perfect for when the weather turns chilly, served with cornbread and a salad.

One of the most important Argentinian beverages is yerba mate tea. Drinking yerba mate is a very social activity. Tea drinkers brew the mate in beautiful gourd cups, and sip it with a silver straw called a bombilla.

Join us at Lala's Authentic Argentinian Charcoal Grill in Sayreville on Jan 20th at 6:30pm for Argentinian Cuisine of Appetizers, Empanadas, Salads, Chicken, Ribes, Desserts and Beverage.
