This wacky cruise ship has been circling the globe for almost 1 year, so it's time to swing by home port for some food from the Good Old U S of A!
The cuisine of the United States is as diverse as its many regions and people. From seafood and one-pot cooking in New England, to the simple and hearty dishes of the Midwest, to the Cajun, Creole, Appalachian and Lowcountry cuisine of the South, to the pioneer and Native American-influenced cuisine of the West and the Pacific, each region of the United States has its own distinctive cuisine.
One of the quintessential foods that originated in the South and that is now popular throughout the country is barbeque ("BBQ"). Cachers have long enjoyed the free barbeque at this establishment and the nearby deepwater anchorage make this ideal layover on the World Culinary Cruise. The Starboard porch (facing Front Street) is reserved for our group.
