Geocache Description:

All aboard the international cruise of flavors.......This crazy cruise ship has embarked upon a world tour, with curious and hungry cachers aboard. The itinerary is every country in the world, one restaurant at a time, all without leaving the confines of Central NJ. 14th Stop ... Egypt!

Join the Central Jersey Cachers for delicious Middle Eastern cuisine at

Baba Ghanoush BBQ @ 6:30pm
1324 South Ave

Plainfield, NJ
(908) 222-1227

This wacky cruise ship will be visiting the continent of Africa and the land of the Pharaohs!

Thousands of years ago, ancient Egyptians left evidence of their love for food. Wall paintings and carvings have been discovered on tombs and temples, depicting large feasts and a variety of foods. Many of these kinds of foods are still eaten in Egypt today. Egyptian cuisine has been influenced by other countries throughout history, particularly by its neighbors from the Middle East, yet maintains its uniqueness.

The menu for this port of call includes a variety of grilled meats, kababs, seafood, and vegetarian dishes, such as falafel, hummus and of course, baba ghanoush. Parking is in front or in back of the building, and tables have been reserved for our group.

Where will this ship pull into port next? Only the pink flamingo knows....
