Geocache Description:

Celebrating 3 years at sea, this crazy cruise ship has visited some exotic and interesting ports. Time to head back to North America after 36 excursions, and dock in the Great White North of Canada.

Care for Beaver Stew eh? Me too. BYOB Canadian brew is the recommendation

BYOB libations.

You may be thinking, what do Canadians eat. We were too, so after a little research it was discovered that they enjoy most of the same fare as us here in the US. Kraft Dinner (commonly known to us as Mac and Cheese) was the number one favorite staple of the mounted police, hockey players, and other Canucks. So we will have some of that. So what else will be served? A mix of contemporary staples, with some foods that we feel are more traditional to the region north of the border.

Poutine? Kinda like Disco Fries. French fries with gravy and cheese curds. Looks interesting.

Banock? A flat bread flavored with spices, meats, or fruit. We will come up with something.

What about the meats and game you ask? I predict that the menu will offer Beaver Stew, Salmon, hopefully Venison, and maybe Elk or Buffalo.

What about the venue, there is no Canadian restaurant in Westfield right? Correct. The Orr Knights have graciously opened up their deck and backyard to all travelers, making this a Canadian BBQ event. Of course there will be Maple Syrup and bacon.

And as our northerly neighbors also enjoy much of the same summer fare as the Americans, there will be beef burgers for the less adventurous.

A $12 donation is asked for all you can eat. Plenty of food. It is July, so there is no reason to wear your touque.

Please post a "will attend" on this one, as we need to prepare adequately for all passengers.

7:00pm to 9:30pm.

Appetizers on each table, followed by dinner, all served family style.
