CCC - Avgolemono - Greece Traditional Cache

In Greece, holiday time is about sitting around the table to eat many traditional foods, but the avgolemono soup is one of the most important. Avgolemono is Greek for “egg-lemon” and the dish is a soup that is made for Christmas Eve dinner. To prepare it, egg and lemon juice is mixed with broth and thickened. Rumor has it, it’s even better the morning after a big night of drinking, so it’s no surprise this is a holiday staple.
