Geocache Description:

Nothing says Christmas dinner like a giant sheep's head, right? In Norway, that is actually the truth. Smalahove translates to “sheep head” and is the typical holiday dish eaten on the Sunday before Christmas. Alongside the head are usually sides of mashed potatoes and rutabaga. It's a controversial meal, for sure, but one that dates back deep into Norway's history.

Welcome to a three stage multi-cache.  So get some paper and let's get started....

Stage 1:

Look at the description and the photo of the giant sheep's head above and answer the following.  Don't get too hungry!

N42 5A.BCD W85 4W.XYZ

A = Number of ears that you can see.

B = Number of letters in the usual side dish that starts with "R".

C = Number of eyes that are closed and you can see.

D = Number of potatoes + number brussel sprouts

W = Number of potatoes on the plate.

X = Number of potatoes + number brussel sprouts + number of mouths + number of noses

Y = Number of potatoes + number brussel sprouts

Z = Number of brussel sprouts on the plate.

Check sum: A+B+C+D+W+X+Y+Z = 15+17 = 32

Stage 2:

CCSquire engineered the pipes that make this place fun in the summer.  Look around the area at the new coordinates and answer the following questions.  Ask yourself, how would calculate the amount of water flow and water pressure needed to make this place work.  Could  you have too much pressure?  What size pipe would you guess serves this?  It is bigger than CCSqure had expected.  You can assume the sprinklers would not be running, and note the bathroom is served off a separate pipe.

N42 5E.FGH W85 4S.TUV

E = Number of red painted foot prints on concrete. (Maybe under snow.  Does big foot live in the neighborhood?)

F = Number of legs on the ground for the orange spider + number of letters in the name of the green critter.

G = Number of red spinners.

H = Number of "C"s in the professional engineer's geocaching name.

S = Number of blue smiley faces.  Look at blue things.  Down low.

T = Number of eyes on splash pad 3D critters + number of hydrants + number of fish.

U = Number of brown chairs + number of frogs.

V = Number of different colored splash loops.

Check sum: E+F+G+H+S+T+U+V = 14+22 = 36
