Josephine's Rainbow Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

infj23: Wow! Hard to believe this cache was on station, serving the caching community for over 11 years. This placement was Josephine's idea (may she rest in peace) and turned out to be a dandy cache. A challenge to be sure with almost as many DNFs as smileys. But alas, over time, the host deteriorated and the once eye-high cache became belt high, became knee high, and I retrieved the container (the original!) today from under a pile of leaves. The container will see life again.
Thanks to all who visited and tried. This great cache has come to an end. On to the next cache!

Geocache Description:

Josephine’s Rainbow

Welcome to Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Josephine’s Rainbow.

Josephine and I were walking near Josephine’s Paws are Made for Walking when she looked up at me through those big brown eyes and said
You know, it takes all kinds.
I said, Ummm, what do you mean?
I mean it takes all kinds of caches. Some people like caches way up high on a rugged mountaintop. Some like easy LPCs in a parking lot, and some people like the ones in between. If there was only one kind of cache, geocaching would not be as much fun as it is.
You’re pretty smart for a tri-color geo-hound.
I know. And you have been putting some work into your caches, trying to make some good caches that are hard to find.
You got a point there, hound?
Yeah, I do. The world needs more caches. Just go put one out and don’t worry about how it looks or the camo or anything. Just put one out.
OK, we’ll do that someday.
Now.
Now?
Now.
OK, let’s go.
And so here it is, Josephine’s Rainbow. It’s almost a PNG, but not quite. Shouldn’t be too hard (difficulty bumped to 3 based on cachers' experiences). Some hit and miss muggle possibility. Also notice a muggle path that is near GZ, so be careful that muggles could be upon you without much warning.
Josephine strongly recommends you approach this one from Rich Boulevard, not Woodstock.

This cache is one of the my eighteen placed
caches and one of thirteen in the world-famous
Josephine Series :
