{CC} The Great Quarter Past Five Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Cold Cache Crew: Today got a chance to get out and pick this one up so we can archive it now. Met the MI Barrel Makers on their way to this one today too -- so got one last finder to sign the log before time was up. This spot in the shadow of the great clock tower may end up being reused!

Geocache Description:

The Great Quarter Past Five is a character who appears in Rudolph's Shiny New Year. He is a friendly camel who lives in the Sands of Time on the way to Father Time's castle. Equipped with a large clock in his hump that is always stuck on 5:15, he gives Rudolph and General Ticker a ride across the desert and protects his passengers from the plight of Aeon the Terrible.

As resident of those northern parts, the Great Quarter Past Five has intimate knowledge of the giant bird, and relates his story to Rudolph, who quickly learns that he must find the baby Happy before this villainous vulture does.

The winter series theme this year involves characters from the classic Rankin/Bass Stop-Motion animation TV Specials that first aired in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's.
