Geocache Description:

1776, nicknamed "Sev", is the historical figure who has preserved the island where time stands still on the celebration of the Fourth of July. Benjamin Franklin-like in appearance and hobbies, he appears in Rudolph's Shiny New Year. Sev first meets Happy while flying a kite. The baby had flown to the island after breaking free from the clutches of Aeon the Terrible.

Taking the baby to the celebratory parade ends in disaster, so Sev decides to help Rudolph track him down after Happy leaves, his feelings hurt yet again.

The winter series theme this year involves characters from the classic Rankin/Bass Stop-Motion animation TV Specials that first aired in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's.
