Continuing my theme of naming most of my trackables after songs, "Penny Lane" is a song released by The Beatles in 1967. Although attributed to the Lennon-McCartney songwriting team, the song is understood as having been composed primarily by Paul McCartney. Named after a bus terminus in Liverpool, England, the song reached #2 in the U.K. and #1 in the U.S (their 13th song to top the American market). It also reached #1 in Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, and (West) Germany.
