The goal of "Put Another Nickel In" is mainly just to travel the world. Feel free to take photos--be creative! :-)
(I have a few other "big money" trackables out there--if this one happens to be in the vicinity of any of the others, it would be great to have their photo taken together!):
TB8JH0J - "Little Ole Dime"
TB8J2W6 - "Big Chief Buffalo Nickel"
TB6BY76 - "Penny Lane"
TB94FZF - "Pennies from Heaven"
TB6BTPZ - "Put Another Dime in the Jukebox, Baby!"
TB9BF14 - "Ben"
TB9BDA8 - "A Penny for Your Thoughts"
(Be sure to hide the tracking code when taking any pics with the trackable).
(Also, please don't "collect" this trackable, as that will take it out of circulation and spoil the fun. PLEASE do not take this travel bug unless you'll faithfully log it and take it to another cache. I can't tell you how many trackables I've released which have gone missing or stagnant, often after just being in one cache. Please respect the purpose of travel bugs / trackables. Thank you).
Continuing my theme of naming most of my trackables after songs, "Put Another Nickel In" is the sub-title of a song more commonly referred to as "Music! Music! Music!" (sometimes also referred to as "The Nickelodeon Song") written by Stephen Weiss and Bernie Baum. Published in 1949, the most well-known version of the song was performed by Teresa Brewer and reached #1 in the U.S. in 1950, becoming the biggest song of her career. Other versions of the song have been performed by Petula Clark, Bing Crosby, Bill Haley & His Comets, Ray Charles, The Happenings, Melanie, and Guy Mitchell.
