Bombing Range Sports Complex is the former home of large cement bombing targets used during World War II. In 1943 & 1944, it was not unusal to drive over West Richland hills and meet an airplane nose to nose. These targets were for the Wildcat F-3s and Hellcat F-4s to use as practice targets. These monoliths are now a part of our history, but never forgotten.
