My older brother was listening to the Police a lot when I was a kid. Ghost in the Machine was a great album but when Synchronicity came out it quickly became one of the tapes that got a lot of playtime in our room. Musically, I think Sting is a genius. This summer I’m finally going to see them live. I know it won’t be the same as if I’d seen them back in the 80’s but it should still be awesome.
I originally hiked up to hide this with my younger brother only to find that night that it was only 260 feet away from the planet BYSS (wasn't in my GPS - who knows why), so I had to go back the next day and move it. There are quite a few trailheads to choose from since Park City is trail crazy, which is a good thing. This is just the one we took. Parking is a real problem - we walked up four big stairways about 150 vertical feet from the Main Street area to the trail. This can all be avoided though, since after I placed it I realised that the new location is up the hill from the top of the Alpine Slide. I was going to move it but we love the Alpine Slide. So if you want to spend a little money and have fun, take the lift then hike to the cache, then back down and ride the slide the rest of the way. If you do take the trail it's about a mile (not including the stairs). Enjoy.
