Geocache Description:

This is my first cache! It's an eraser cache!

Cache is in Capik Nature Preserve. and is about 1/3 mile from parking. It's very close to a trail, a small sandwich sized lock-n-lock with different kinds of erasers in it and is also starting out with a geocoin. Please bring an eraser to trade!

NOTE: This area needs a good CITO. Please bring a plastic bag to help out. THANKS! FTF gets a Central Jersey Geocaching pathtag!

If you're planning to do all the caches in this preserve in one trip, my suggestion is to take a leisurely 2 mile (approx) walk or bike ride around the lakes clockwise and do the caches in this order:

GC1FJW2 - Ruby's Retreat (start or end with this one)
GC1CQ5K - Giddy Up (stage 1)
GC1HAR2 – The Throne
GC1RPNV – Boscobaby’s Big Bloo Bukkit
GC1F38Q - Cosmo's Place
GC1CQ5K - Giddy Up (stage 2)
GC1RQHG – ShellyShel’s Eraser Cache

Hunting is permitted in this preserve but when that is going on there are signs prominently posted. Fishing is allowed with a permit for Sayreville residents only. Dogs are not permitted in the lakes. I hope you enjoy Capik Nature Preserve!
