👻 Hallowed Cache: The Urn ⚱️ Traditional Geocache

"Now, of all the insane ideas! I told him no one in their right mind would do that!" the old woman says to you when you ask for her husband's remains. You had read an article in the old town paper during your research of the house. It reported that the last known descendant of the last known owner of the Haunted House still lived in town. It read that the man wanted to obtain ownership of the property and fix it up. His wife, on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with the many curses spoke of around that bit of land. She was a superstitious one and forbade him from pursuing that dream or she'd leave him. And so he obeyed and lived out his life happily but always curious. Or so the old woman told you as you sat down to tea with her. It's too bad he passed away a few years ago or you'd be having a better conversation with him. You probably overstepped her hospitality when you suggested he get his last wish and have his ashes spread inside the Haunted House. She only mentioned his will to talk of his obsession with the place and how you should stay away. She's so sick of hearing about it over the years. However, it dawns on her that she'd finally be rid of people pestering her about the house if she gave in. She stands up, walks over to the mantle, grabs the urn, and tosses it your way. "There, let the ol' curmudgeon have his way for once!" Good thing these things are sealed up nowadays.
