100% Unofficial 3,000,000th Geocache. Published 18.04.17.
Where: The given co-ords at the most westerly spot it's safe to reach on foot on Neist Point, Duirinish peninsula, Isle of Skye.
When:1.00-1.30pm, Saturday June 17th 2017
What: A gathering of Geocachers to admire the view and passing wildlife while eating a packed lunch and swapping travel items and 'caching stories.
Why: My tour of the extreme points of the British Isles wouldn't be complete without a visit here, and how better to mark it than a cache meet?
Who: Brave and hardy cachers from far and wide. It's a bit of a walk, and conditions may be rough (please note you attend at your own risk. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear) but it should be rewarding. It'd be lovely to meet locals as well as cachers on tour, like myself.
How: Park at the suggested co-ords and follow the obvious path to GZ. In case of very windy conditions, I reserve the right to relocate the event to these co-ords for reasons of safety.
