elrojo14: Driving out to the BCSP to find my 73 day * streak record breaker and with a ton of different ways to get out there, I decided to go this way and check on this one. Sure enough, the relic is gone and so is the cache. RIP Old Rusty.

This series is dedicated to the monuments of oilfield past that are scattered across Kern County. These old relics were obviously no longer useful for anything except to adorn the front entrances of modern oil facilities or private residences. However, I am giving them new life by being a place to hide new Geocaches on or nearby.
