One Million B.C. appears in Rudolph's Shiny New Year. He is the representative of the island that holds the distinction of being one of the oldest in the Archipelago of Last Years. He is an excitable cave-dweller who spends his time with the local dinosaurs, whose philosophy is that if you laugh, you'll find that it's raining sunshine.
O.M., as he prefers to be called (because who has all the time to say his full name, One Million?), accompanies Rudolph as the first to join his expedition to find the baby Happy new year. Although Happy had previously been to his island, the duo have no luck finding him on 1893, 1492 or 1965.
The winter series theme this year involves characters from the classic Rankin/Bass Stop-Motion animation TV Specials that first aired in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's.
