Geocache Description:

Cache is at the posted coords across from a very ironic building.

Can you earn the
Matching Palindromic
Number Badge?

!Stats - stats love cachers, cachers love stats - stats!
So here's a very easy Super Challenge involving just that:
Two different stats to be specific. Your:

  • Total find count -and-
  • Total unknown count

To log this cache it must be a palindromic number for both your total find count and your total unknown find count.

What's a palindrome you ask? Well, it's simply a number, word, or phrase that is read the same forwards as it is backwards.
For example: The number 4334 is a palindrome. So is the word stats and the phrase evil olive. All three can be read the same way backwards and forwards. Palindrome phrases can be as short as the word mom or as long as the phrase On a clover, if alive, erupts a vast, pure evil; a fire volcano.
Neat huh?

  • So, when you log this cache as found, this cache must make both your total find count and your total number of unknowns palindromes.
For Example: Let's say a person has 6555 total finds and 938 unknowns. This cache would make their total find count at 6556 and their unknown find count at 939. -- meaning they would qualify for this challenge cache.
Another Example: Let's say another person has 6556 total finds and 736 unknown finds. This cache is find number 6557 making them not qualify because their total find count is not a palindrome even though their unknown count would be.
A Final Example: Let's say a person has 8777 total finds and 1221 unknown finds. This cache makes their total find number 8778 and their unknown number at 1222 making them not qualify for this cache because their unknown number is not a palindrome even though their total find count would be.

  • Additionally, you must have over 1,001 total finds and at least 10.1% of them must be unknown caches.

  • Please don't sign the log until you qualify for this challenge.
You can also log this cache on any day (MM-DD-YY) that is a palindrome:
  • For Example: Today is 4/1/14 -- you can log this cache gratis no challenge required. Every palindromic date afterword (5/1/15...6/1/16...etc) you can also log this cache.

Please include in your log of the following:
  1. Your find number for this cache - total find count.
  2. Your number of unknown finds including this cache - total unknown find count.
  3. A screen cap of your geocaching.com page showing both your find count and unknown counts.
Word of caution, be careful logging caches on a multi-find day to make sure their order is correct.

Happy Super Caching!

edit: clarified that the screen cap should be from geocaching.com and NOT GSAK. This is to keep the numbers consistent between all cachers.
