Questa Cache fa parte di un percorso lungo la sponda sinistra del fiume Piave attraverso i luoghi di valore storico/culturale del comune di Ponte di Piave e le immediate vicinanze. L’itinerario può essere affrontato con auto e moto, ma la migliore scelta è farlo in bicicletta e seguire l’ordine dalla numero 1 alla numero 12.

Il cinema Luxor si trova a pochi passi dal centro del paese, ed è stato un luogo di ritrovo di diverse generazioni, dai tempi in cui venivano proiettati i film in bianco e nero fino all’ultimo periodo quando veniva utilizzato per assemblee e rappresentazioni teatrali. Dal 2004 è stato dichiarato inagibile ed oggi è in stato di abbandono, è stato riaperto solo nel 2010 per girare una scena del film “LOST in devil’s country”.
Sulle pareti esterne verso la Casa della Comunità Luciano Martini, una volta adibita ad asilo, sono dipinti vari murales fatti da artisti locali,uno di questi è famoso per aver dipinto varie sue opere su treni ed edifici delle ferrovie (http://www.digitalexperience.eu/site/?p=303) . Per chi spesso utilizza il treno per recarsi a Mestre o Padova dovrebbe notare la familiarità con un certo disegno.

This Cache is part of a trail along the left bank of Piave river cross historical/cultural places of Ponte di Piave and nearby. You can do the trail with car or motorcycle, but the best choice is riding a bike and following the order from 1 to 12.
The Luxor Cinema is located near the center of the village, and has been a meeting place for several generations, from the days when movies were shown in black and white until the last period when it was used for assemblies and stage plays.
Since 2004 he has been declared unfit for use and is now abandoned, it was reopened in 2010 to shoot a scene from the movie "Lost in the Devil's Country".
