Questa Cache fa parte di un percorso lungo la sponda sinistra del fiume Piave attraverso i luoghi di valore storico/culturale del comune di Ponte di Piave e le immediate vicinanze. L’itinerario può essere affrontato con auto e moto, ma la migliore scelta è farlo in bicicletta e seguire l’ordine dalla numero 1 alla numero 15.

[ITA] La caccia è un’attività molto praticata in questi luoghi che conservano ancora delle zone rurali che sono un ottimo habitat per lepri e fagiani. Un’ espressione sportiva di questa attività è il Tiro al Volo che consiste nel colpire un bersaglio chiamato piattello da una determinata distanza con un fucile a canna liscia. È disciplina olimpica.
Il bersaglio è sempre in movimento e può essere predeterminato in base ad una sequenza nota selezionata a caso al momento del lancio.
Il tiro a volo si suddivideva in due categorie:

tiro al piccione
tiro al piattello

Oggi esiste solo il tiro al piattello, in quanto il tiro al piccione è vietato. Il tiro al piccione è stato sostituito con il "tiro all'elica".
In questo luogo, in occasione della ricorrenza del 25 Aprile, festa di San Marco dove ci si ritrova a mangiare la” fortaia coi bruscandoli” (frittata con i germogli di luppolo selvatico), viene svolta l’annuale competizione di tiro al piattello.

This Cache is part of a trail along the left bank of Piave river cross historical/cultural places of Ponte di Piave and nearby. You can do the trail with car or motorcycle, but the best choice is riding a bike and following the order from 1 to 15.
Hunting is a very practiced in these areas that still exist in rural areas and are an excellent habitat for pheasants and hares. A sporting expression of this activity is the Tiro al Volo (Clay pigeon shooting). It consist to hit a target that called plate from a certain distance with a shotgun. It is an Olympic discipline.
