Hotdog ♂
Namesake: A hotdog because he's long, and he likes to show off his weasel war dance!

Birthdate/Adopted: 14 Aug 2016 / 10 May 2017, PA, USA
Travel: Moved 2 times, lived in 3 states and 1 country
Breed: Path Valley
Size: 24 inches, 3lbs, "bulldog" body type

Wrestling and play-fighting. Exploring on harness/leash. Ball pit. Giving kisses, especially under noses and inside elbows.
His story: Our first ferret! We drove to PA to adopt him from a family who didn't want him anymore. He'd lived in another home previous to that. As soon as Gally opened his cage and picked him up, he bit her neck and war danced away while dooking (laughing)! She loved him instantly! She knew he probably wasn't let out of his cage often in his other homes, so she trained him to invite play without biting and gave him lots of playtime. He's playful, funny, sweet, and super mischievous! He even gives kisses to those he likes most!
Noodle ♀ RIP

Markings: Albino
Likes: Squeaky soft toys! Ball toys. Cuddling with the other ferrets. Weasel war dance. Ball pit. Tunnels. Rubbery chew toys. Cuddling in Gally's arms.
Her story: We quickly realized Hotdog needed a sibling so he'd have someone to play with and keep him company while we weren't home. We looked at a few ferrets, and Nick decided on beautiful Noodle. She's playful, gentle, beautiful, and hisses when she plays! She goes crazy for squeaky toys and will come running from wherever she is to grab it!
Just before her third birthday in 2020, she had a splenectomy and some englarged intestinal lymph nodes removed. The tumors tested cancerous, and she was diagnosed with lymphona, so she underwent chemotherapy for nine weeks. She's now healthy and active!
Banchan ♀ RIP
Namesake: All our pets since 2014 have food names, but we didn't have a Korean name yet, so she's named after little Korean side dishes because she was so tiny when we got her!
Nicknames: Baby Banchan, Princess Banchan, Panda Baby
Birthdate/Adopted: 1 Jan 2018? / 3 Mar 2018, MD, USA
Travel: Moved 1 times, lived in 2 states and 1 country
Breed: Marshall
Size: 20 inches, around 2lbs
Markings: Black roan mitt coat, standard pattern, war paint mask (changes with seasons), brown eyes, speckled nose, bib, zipper, knee patches, four mitts, white tail tip

Her story: Ferrets are so much fun, and we upgraded the ferret habitat from two to three stories, so we decided to get a third ferret. We looked at a few, but Gally knew she'd found the perfect one when she held baby Banchan. She had the color and all the markings Gally wanted, and she gave kisses! She's playful, sweet, cute, and cuddly! The other ferrets really enjoy having her around too and they all play and cuddle together!
Soju ♀

Markings: Lilac coat (mix of silver and champagne), standard pattern, faint white spot on back of neck (possible blaze/badger marking), standard mask, brown eyes, pink nose, bib, four mitts, silver tail with white tip
Likes: Weasel war dance! Wrestling and play-fighting. Being held. Things that crinkle. Cuddling with the other ferrets. Squeaky soft toys. Tunneling. Rubbery chew toys. Giving nose and ear kisses. Exploring on harness/leash.
Her story: Ferrets are like potato chips -- you can't stop at one, two, or three! Gally wanted to get one more Path Valley ferret before leaving MD so she'd have two PVs and two Marshalls for variety. She raced to the local pet store as soon as she got the phone call that the litter had arrived so she'd get first pick. There were six in all, and Gally held each adorable one. She decided on baby Soju because she was the most interested in Gally, liked being held, and already had litter box manners. She's playful, funny, cute, cuddly, and crazy!
