Kinshachi Theft Incident
The year is 1712 (Shotoku 2) in the Edo period. Kinsuke Kakinoki, who was said to be the greatest thief in Japan, appeared in the castle tower of Nagoya Castle! He tied his body to a large kite and fluttered about. After brilliantly stealing the golden killer whale, he disappeared into the sky.
Kakinoki Kinsuke was a real-life thief, but this incident is a fiction. His depiction in novels and plays made him popular among the common people, which is why he has been passed down as a legend.
More than 300 years later, we have geocached its story. The log sheet is hidden in that kite. The location is at the knee of Nagoya Castle, surrounded by trees. Thin tree branches will be needed, so please procure them locally and skillfully steal them!
金シャチ #8 「空中怪盗"大凧の金助"」
時は江戸時代、聖徳2年(1712年)。天下の大泥棒と謳われた柿木金助が名古屋城天守閣に現れた！大凧にその体をむすびつけて、ゆらゆらヒラリ。華麗に金シャチを盗むと、空の彼方に消えていった。
柿木金助は実在した怪盗ですが、この事件はフィクションです。天明3年（1783年）大坂で上演された初代・並木五瓶作の歌舞伎「傾城黄金鯱」に描かれたことで庶民の人気を博し、それが伝説として語り継がれています。
あれから300年余り、その物語をジオキャッシングにしてみました。ログシートはその大凧に隠されています。場所は名古屋城のお膝元、木々に囲まれた場所に設置しております。細い木の枝が必要になりますので、現地で調達して巧みに怪盗してください！
