Too much of unknown and uncertainty at this moment, and with GCHQ's will, I have to archive this CITO event even though not held. History has changed, unfortunately, and not much I can do...

I am, however optimistically planning to organize a separate CITO event sometime later during this 2020 CITO season 1 somewhere within the Great Boston area, once the future is clearer and protocol for safe CITO/Event caching is set. The new normal, I guess.

Once with an update, I will definitely post a message on all my past Charles Rive CITO event pages, so please keep your Watchlist active.

This year's cleanup location:

Undetermined (NOT at Herter Park)

DO NOT gather up at Herter Park Parking Lot
(1175 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston, MA 02228)

(Walking distance from MBTA Red line "Harvard" station.)
Plenty of free parking available.

Not set (NOT on Saturday, April 25, 2019, from 9:00 AM SHARP ~ 12:00 PM noon)
Rain or Shine!

Time schedule: (Please arrive a bit earlier if you can. Plenty of parking.)
8:30am-8:45am : Sign-in (CITO log sheet & a waiver form), and pick up supplies.
8:45am-9:00am : Welcome and Volunteer Instructions. Group photo.
9:00am- : Service time! Pick up trash along the Charles and it's basin!
~11:30am : Return back to the starting point.
11:45am : Group photo & Raffle time!
12:00pm : Thank you & see you next year!

Trash Bags and other cleanup supplies will be provided at the starting coords,
yet please bring your own water & snacks.
Also, you WILL get dirty, so dress appropriately, and wear good footwear.
Your garden gloves will come in handy as well.

Raffle prizes:
Only those who have signed their geo-names on the CITO log sheet
will be entered into the CITO raffle!
Prizes: Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Geocoins
and maybe more...
