London is a wonderful city but one area in which it doesn't excel is larger caches suitable for TBs. This rare Letterbox/Hybrid cache (only 1 of 14 within 10 miles/16Km at the time of publication) has been placed with travellers of all sorts, from near and very far, in mind...

"And now before giving you the details of the battle, I bring you a warning: Every one of you listening to my voice, tell the world. Tell this to everybody wherever they are. Watch the skies. Everywhere. Keep looking."

Nearest Tube stations: Holborn (3-5 mins), Chancery Lane (5-6 mins) and Russell Square (8-10 mins). Approx. 10 mins from The British Museum. Wheelchair access - 65cm doorway - using the Tube is best via Tottenham Court Road, as this has lifts from platform level to street level.

This is a very quick and easy - yet memorable - Offset-Multi-style Letterbox/Hybrid cache. It has a stamp in the cache. It isn't a swap. Please don't take it! Begin at the given co-ords and locate a hard-to-miss mosaic created by Tim's sister - her name is on a plaque below it. Note the number of Red Flags on the ship.

Now go to the second waypoint (it's 214ft/65m behind you, and then left. A 40-second stroll or roll - doorway 65cm wide) and enter the building (note opening times above/below!) - follow the arrow? - to locate an old switch on the wall (See clue). Flick it on and off the number of Red Flags times in less than six seconds and then wait for a few seconds for the cache to be revealed. To return it to safety, turn the switch on and off again. All very simple and painless!

Normal Opening Hours: Usually Tuesday to Saturday, 11am-6pm with late opening on Thursdays, noon 'til 8pm. During the summer (until mid September) the location is open Sunday-Monday 11am-6pm too - also during English/Welsh school holidays. The first Thursday of the month has a bar 5-9pm...
