Železničná stanica Harmanec Jaskyňa leží v Harmaneckej doline na neelektrifikovanej trati ŽSR č. 170 Vrútky - Zvolen. Po výstavbe trate mala názov Horný Harmanec. Od r. 1949 bola premenovaná na Harmanecké jaskyne. Súčasný názov má od r. 1962.[1]
Poloha železničnej stanice je na ľavej strane v smere od Banskej Bystrice. Stanica ma 3 koľaje: 1. prostredná (634m), 2. pod skalou (633m) a 3. pri staničnej budove (643m). Sklon celej stanice je približne 2.5‰ a je ohraničená dvoma tunelmi. Z Bystrickej strany tunel č. 10 (Grehelský II - 280m) a z Vrútockej strany tunel č. 11 (Kosiensky - 80m).
Stanica disponuje dvoma vodnými žeriavmi na dopĺňanie vody do parných rušňov.
Harmanec Jaskyňa Railway Station is situated in Harmanec valye on the non-electrified railway ŽSR č. 170 Vrútky - Zvolen. After the construction of the track was called Horný Harmanec. From r. 1949 was renamed to Harmanec Jaskyňa. Current name has since 1962.[1]
The location of the railway station is on the left side from Banská Bystrica. The station has 3 tracks: 1. middle (634m), 2. under the rocks (633m) and 3. at the station building (643m). The inclination of the entire station is approximately 2.5 ‰ and is bounded by two tunnels. From the Banská Bystrica side is tunnel no. 10 (Grehelský II - 280m) and from Vrútky side tunnel no. 11 (Kosiensky - 80m).
The station has two water cranes to replenish water to steam locomotive.

Keš sa nachádza neďaleko tejto krásnej stanice, na mieste odkiaľ je pekný výhľad. Aby ste sa na toto miesto dostali musite sa prejst po tejto stanici a nájst 2. šítky zo súradnicami. Pri hľadaní Vám pomôžu tieto odkazy od štítkov:
Stage 1
Ahoj, som hliníkový štítok s N súradnicou skrýše. Visím na strome a z jednej strany sa pozerám na domček výhybkára a z druhej mám krásny výhľad so Harmaneckej doliny.
Stage 2
Ahoj, som hliníkový štítok s E súradnicou skrýše. Som o niečo väčší ako môj kamarát ale viem sa aj lepšie schovať. Ak ma chceš nájsť vydaj sa ako sa hovorí na tejto stanici "hore" popri koľaji č. 3. (do koľajiska nie je potrebne vstupovať) a neboj sa kľaknúť si. Bojím sa svetla a chcel som isť do tunela ale tam je vlhko a keď prejde vláčik aj smrad a preto som sa schoval na 10 miesto (počítaj od stanice) kde býva "najväčšia tma".
Ďalej budete potrebovať znalosť trate medzi Banskou Bystricou a Dolnou Štubňou (trati je venovaná séria Zeleznica BB-DS 1940). Pre otvorenie cache sú potrebné 3 číslice XYZ ktoré získaťe nasledovne:
XY = počet tunelov medzi stanicou Banská Bystrica a Harmanec Jaskyňa,
Z = počet tunelov medzi stanicou Čremošné a Harmanec Jaskyňa.
Odlov keše odporúčam vo dvojici a to najmä v zime.

Stage 1

Stage 2

You will also need the knowledge of the track between Banská Bystrica and Dolná Štubňa (the line is dedicated to the series Zeleznica BB-DS 1940). To open a cache, you need 3 XYZ digits to be obtained as follows:

Z = the number of tunnels between Čremošné and Harmanec Jaskyňa.
I recommend the catch cache in the pair, especially in winter.
