Geocache Description:

Fairlight Forage

Bonus Cache :-)
The D/T rating reflects having worked out all the puzzles and walked the series.
You will have needed to complete the eight Fairlight Forage caches
and answered all the puzzle questions to be able to find this cache.
If you have the correct bonus answers then this cache is fairly straight forward,
although you do need to do some calculations most likely with a calculator (or a big piece of paper!).
The Difficulty is rated a 4 but it is in fact very easy if you have the correct answers!

go direct to a Fairlight Forage cache number below:
FF01 - FF02 - FF03 - FF04 - FF05 - FF06 - FF07 - FF08 - FF09 - FF10 - FF11 - FF12 - FF13 - FF14 - Bonus

please note - the locations on the map below are approximate only

Something a little larger than the others so far ;-)
Plenty of room for swaps and trackables.
Please make sure no undue force is used when the sealing mechanism is opened and closed.
Ensure the sealing mechanism is placed over the the lips of the container and lid properly before closing.
If seated properly it should cover any visible blue and be impossible to move unless the mechanism is not closed.
Bring plenty of swaps along if you want some fun,
this cache container & contents is especially fun for children.

WARNING!
Younger children should be supervised if they retrieve the cache,
older folk just need to be mindful of rusty sharp stuff!
When replacing the cache, please try and position it gently
so as to minimise scratching to the container - thank you!

grab a calculator (if necessary, quicker & easier to do so!)
treat   A=1,   B=2,   C=3,   D=4,   E=5

the following is for example only, they may or may not be the actual correct answers
you will need to do your own workings using the bonus answers you found
i.e. you will need all eight bonus answers and do the working out for all eight
to come up with 2 lots of 3 digit numbers (which will give you pqr & stu)

If the answer to FF02 is E, then multiply the FF cache number by 5

so FF02 is cache number 2, answer is E, E=5, so 2 x 5 = 10

If the answer to FF04 is C, then multiply the FF cache number by 3
so FF04 is cache number 4, answer is C, C=3, so 4 x 3 = 12

If the answer to FF07 is A, then multiply the FF cache number by 1
so FF07 is cache number 7, answer is A, A=1, so 7 x 1 = 7

If the answer to FF08 is B, then multiply the FF cache number by 2
so FF08 is cache number 8, answer is B, B=2, so 8 x 2 = 16

Now add the numbers up, so using above as an example
10 + 12 + 7 + 16 = 45

Multiply 45 by 0.274 to get 12.33
round to nearest whole number, so we now get 12
add a leading zero if necessary, in this case it is, so we now get 012
using 012 we get p = 0,  q = 1,  r = 2

You now need to the same again to work out s, t, u
using caches FF09, FF10, FF11 & FF12
but instead of multiplying by 0.274 as above, multiply by 4.646

in both cases of the first four and last four caches you should get 3 digit numbers
