Geocache Description:

Join us for brunch and a CITO at this beloved old park.

We've spent the weekend showing you the amazing things Spokane does to promote Sustainability during the SOS Geotour. There is many more but we can not show you all in one day. The members of the Geotour Committee now invite you to help us put sustainability in action! Join us at Cliff Park for a CITO and brunch as our weekend comes to a close.

This much beloved park was formed out of a natural volcanic outcropping, which was used by the Spokane Tribe as an lookout. The trees have grown a bit since then, but the view is still fantastic. The park can take in an astonishing amount of trash, but is worth the upkeep!


WHEN: Sunday , July 16 2017
START TIME: 0900 hours / 9:00 a.m.
END TIME: Noon / 12:00 p.m.
WHAT: CITO; being part of a sustainable activity in Spokane
WHERE: Cliff Park or N 47° 38.673 W 117° 25.135, parking along the road
IF: if possible bring your CITO gear; gloves, picking stick, bags, sturdy shoes etc
