Cache will take you to a former monastery which stands proud in a beautiful mountain scenery. It is accessible on a paved road by car or through hiking trails.
Vahanavank Monastery gets its name from Prince Vahan Nakhashinogh, who built the complex in the 10th century. It later became the religious center for the kings of Syunik. It is located approximately 7-8 km from Kapan and can be accessed directly from Halidzor Fortress via freshly marked hiking trail or by car following the signs on M-2 highway.
I have written an extensive hint and added a photohint for this one. Please feel very free to use them since unjustified disassembling of the wall is very undesirable.
These six caches were placed during one week at the end of April and beginning of May 2017 around Kapan by nudle_cz with consent and supervision of ARK Armenia whose members and volunteers will also provide necessary maintenance for the caches:
