Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The posted coordinates are the location of BCP001, the very first brass cap.

This cache is dedicated to the fond memory of outforthehunt's GC43F3 -Brass Cap Cache.

"This cache will be moved in and around Alberta and Geocachers from all areas in the Province will get a chance to log it." For over 15 years that was true. Hundreds of cachers from Alberta and elsewhere travelled the height and breadth of the province from the peaks of the Rockies to the sun baked badlands looking for survey monuments. Until suddenly, without warning, it all ended.

But we remember.

Oh yes, there was a puzzle involved, wasn't there? Here it is:

55.2328 -119.3069
50.1063 -110.7145
53.5379 -113.4772
53.5325 -114.0016
50.9539 -114.0948
59.9997 -116.9837

Once you've figured out the significance of the above coordinates, you can use the geochecker below to verify your result. And if you'd care to share any stories of your continuing brass capping adventures, please feel free to leave a "Write note" log here with the applicable BCP#, special (FOUND) string, and of course, any pictures you've taken - just don't show the numbers on the cap, please!
