According to The Game of Thrones, "A Lannister always pays his debts." As long as what you're owed is money, that's a good thing. When it comes to financial matters, they are certainly the go-to family. They have lots of money, understand the fine points of banking and the importance controlling real estate, and they are ruthless in their efforts to come out on top. They might have an occasional setback and need to take out a loan or mortage a property, but at the end of the game, I'd bet on them to still be riding high (as long as they can manage to stay out of jail).
