Geocache Description:

A challenge cache with a simple goal: find a cache in every Minnesota congressional district created after the 2010 Census. Bonus points if you can figure out why I hid the cache in this location.

Every ten years, Minnesota engages in the redistricting process where congressional and legislative lines are redrawn to account for population changes following the Census. The first elections using the new district lines just took place, and the new (or returning) state legislators and members of Congress will be taking office in January 2013. To commemorate this decennial tradition, I made a new series of challenges with a goal of visiting every district in Minnesota.

The rules are simple: Find a cache in every congressional district in Minnesota. Past finds qualify. Any cache that stays permanently in one spot is fair game. This includes traditionals, virtuals, earthcaches, letterboxes, wherigos, puzzles, and multicaches. Maps of each district are include on the related web page, and you can also get KML files from the Secretary of State's web site at this link. (The background image should also give you a sense of where you need to go.) Please verify your list using whichever method is easiest for you and include the date found. This can include a list in a found log or note on the cache page, bookmark list, screen grab of a GSAK macro, etc.

Update: As of 11/12/21, there is a checker available for this challenge:

PGC Checker

UPDATE #2 (March 2022): After the 2020 Census, there are now new maps. Thanks to the fine folks at project-gc.com, there is now a checker that checks whether you qualify using the new maps. I'd say you're good on this challenge if you qualify using either set of maps, but bonus points if you can qualify using both. Here is the new checker:

PGC Checker

For the sake of posterity, here is the list I put together for myself before I had a checker:
