If you need a place to camp overnight, the county fairground located just south of the freeway has inexpensive camping. Turn right at Bomgaars, and watch for the entrance to the fairgrounds area on the left. There are very nice bathrooms at the campground. Full hookups are available if you turn left down the gravel driveway between the Fitness Center and the 4-H building, some tent sites are back there too.
This cache will be visible in all weather; if it is very cold, you should be able to find it without getting out of your car.
