The Challenge
This is a so-called challenge cache for which you need to perform a particular task prior to being allowed to log a find.
Groundspeak Guidelines state:
A challenge cache is a variation of a puzzle cache. This will typically require the cacher to meet a reasonable Geocaching-, Waymarking- or Wherigo-related qualification. An example is finding a cache in each county of your state. If you are thinking of creating such a cache, be sure to do your research first.
Sometimes unfortunately trackables are placed in caches that remain unvisited for a long time. This challenge has been created to reward cachers that retrieve these trackables and bring them back in circulation.
To complete this challenge, you have to demonstrate that you have 'freed' GC trackables that have been 'imprisoned' for over three months. Your task is to accumulate the trackable captivity dates, so that the sum adds up to 24 months (730 days). This is how it works:
- Search your archives for trackables you found that were last placed in the cache more than 3 months prior to your retrieval. Calculate the number of days between placement date and retrieval date.
- If you merely discover a trackable, this does not count. However it is allowable for another cacher to have logged a discovery between the date the trackable was placed and you retrieving the trackable.
- Accumulate the days for all trackables as above. The sum must be greater than 730 days. Eg you could have 4 trackables that were stuck for 6 months or just one trackable that remained in situ for over 2 years.
- Create a list of the trackables you have found in the following format and post it in your log:

Can you beat this score?
- There is no time constraint on this challenge. You can use trackables you have found in the past and you can use future trackables. You are also allowed to retrieve a trackable from a cache you have already found or own. The whole idea is to 'Free the Bugs'.
The Cache
The cache is NOT located at the listed coordinates. You still need to review my list and the code below and determine the actual coordinates of the cache. GZ will also be a bit of a challenge to get to, but if you qualify for this cache you are probably already used to 'doing it rough'.
