I have hung onto The Brick quite long enough, hoping for some serious intercontinental travel and also a box big enough.
At last a trip to Australia to the very first cache I set up with my brother Miray enabled me to swap over the box and send him on his way to explore South Australia.
His time in the UK has not been entirely wasted. The Brick reached stardom at the first production of The Broadstairs Fishwife Mummers Play at its premiere at the Broadstairs Festival in Kent in August 2010. This play was written by me (playing King Neptune) and John Lowe (playing the Fishwife), but starred The Brick as Barry Bonus's Smartphone. Some of the lines of the play used by Barry Bonus as a crib are still there as a sort of T-shirt for proud thespian GPSs.
