Die sogenannte Römerstraße im Freizeitpark Rheinaue ist ein Weg, der von 26 Abgüssen antiker, römischer Grabsteine gesäumt ist. Daneben sind aber auch Kopien mehrerer Weihealtäre, einer Ehreninschrift, eines Meilensteins, sowie dieser Jupitersäule ausgestellt.

Oben auf der Säule thront eine kleine Statue des sitzenden Jupiters, römischer Gott des Donners und Göttervater. Darunter im Schaft der Säule befinden sich kaum noch erkennbar Abbildungen von Juno, der Gemahlin Jupiters, Minerva, der Göttin der Künste, und Merkur, Gott der Händler und Diebe. Auf dem Sockel ist noch Herkules mit Keule in der Hand, Ceres, die Erntegöttin, und Vulcanus, der Schmiedegott, zu erkennen. Das Original der Säule steht im Rheinischen Landesmuseum in Bonn.
The so-called Römerstraße in the park Freizeitpark Rheinaue is a path, which is lined with 26 casts of ancient Roman tombstones. In addition, copies of several altars, an honorary inscription, a milestone, as well as this Jupiter's column are exhibited.

On top of the column is a small statue of the sitting Jupiter, Roman god of thunder and godfather. Beneath him in the shaft of the column are hardly noticable the figures of Juno, the wife of Jupiter, Minerva, the goddess of the arts, and Mercury, god of merchants and thieves. On the base there is still recorgnizable Hercules with a club in hand, Ceres, the god of harvest, and Vulcanus, the forge god. The original of the column is exhibited in the museum "Rheinisches Landesmuseum" in Bonn.
