Oberhalb des Wasserfalls in der Bonner Rheinaue wurde die sogenannte "Römerstraße" angelegt. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Weg, der von 26 Abgüssen antiker, römischer Grabsteine gesäumt ist. Der geschichtlich bedeutenste Grabstein ist der des Zenturios Marcus Caelius. Neben den Grabsteinen sind ausserdem Kopien einer Jupitersäule, eines Meilensteins, einer Ehreninschrift für den Kaiser Antonius Pius sowie mehrerer Weihealtäre ausgestellt.

Die Originale der Objekte sind im Rheinischen Landesmuseum in Bonn ausgestellt, das die Abgüsse anfertigen ließ und in Zusammenarbeit mit der Bundesgartenschau-Gesellschaft hier 1979 aufstellen ließ.
Above the waterfall in the park Rheinaue in Bonn the so-called "Römerstraße" has been established. This is a path lined with 26 casts of ancient Roman tombstones. The most important of these is that of the centurion Marcus Caelius. In addition to the gravestones, replicas of a Jupiter column, a milestone, an honorary inscription for the Emperor Antonius Pius, as well as several altars are exhibited.

The originals of the objects are exhibited in the museum "Rheinisches Landesmuseum" in Bonn, which produced the casts and, in collaboration with the Bundesgartenschau organizators, put them up here in 1979.
