Saturday June 16th - 8:02 a.m.
Please join us to show the Tucson Community the positive side of Geocaching and how Cache In Trash Out events impact our environment."
We'll be gathering at 7:40 AM (0740 for you military types) and beginning the cleanup @ 8:10 AM, just shy of the NE corner of North Ridgeway & Pima Str.
Parking is available just outside the apartment block wall. Just look for the group of people wondering around, unless you arrive there first. From there we'll go on a clean-up walk for about one-half of a mile, depending on wash conditions. Our ETC (estimated time of completion) should be around 90 - 120 minutes.
Trash bags, some gloves, grapplers, and cold water will be provided. Please remember to bring supplies to make the day safer (sunscreen, extra CITO supplies, your favorite gloves, hats, smiley face, etc.)
As many of you already know Southern Arizona Geocachers have officially adopted this stretch of the Alamo Wash. The first CITO event began March 25th, 2006. Checkout the following website if you are interested in adopting an area: https://tucsoncleanandbeautiful.org/adopt-a-park-public-areas/
963 Teams have participated in the last 53 Alamo Wash CITO events. AWESOME! Special Thanks to all of you who have helped in prior CITO events, and we look forward to all who can help make this one a success!
