Geocache Description:

For those of you that are new, here is a little history. On March 25, 2006 geocachers from all over Southern Arizona met for the first time to take on the duties of cleaning the Grant Road to Pima Street section of the Alamo Wash and have done an excellent job at keeping it clean. We were officially recognized on September 9, 2006 through Tucson Clean and Beautiful as having adopted the wash and a sign was erected to let the public know. This is the 36rd time we will meet to do a clean-up.

We are continuing the tradition of cleaning the wash and this time we will be starting at the Southern end of the wash. The start time will be at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday September 22, 2012. Trash bags, snacks and water will be provided. You may want to bring a pair of leather or gardening gloves, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, and any other type of re-hydrating drink (i.e., Gatorade) you might need. Well this will be my first time hosting the event. I'm hosting this event to help me get some service hours for Boy Scouts and helping my troop with the geocaching merit badge. I hope I can live up to the great tradition that has been started. We look forward to seeing all the old faces and hopefully many new ones. And as always the passing of the Bull.
