Introduction: This is the long road to Kilmory. What it has going for it is great views down the glen, deer, a much improved surface, and now, this cache to break-up the walk/cycle.
The location: At the given location you won't find the cache, but you will find a sign. To locate the cache, head to N57 01.ABC W006 20.DEF, where, on the board in English:
A= number of times 'scientific' appears.
B= number of times 'tracking' appears.
C= number of times 'please' appears.
D= number of times 'research' appears - including towards the top of the board, and as part of a longer word!
E= 197?
F= number of times the word 'deer' appears, MINUS TWO. Again, include the large text near the top of the board.
The route: From 'the village' (Kinloch), take the Harris/Kilmory road to the south of Kinloch river, and follow it for two miles (beyond a gate) to a split in the road. Take the right branch and drop down the glen to this cache's icon location. Once you've gathered info, will it send you further down the glen, or will you be back-tracking? You'll have to visit to find out!
The terrain: A track with a great surface. Ideal for walking or cycling. It's approx. 3 miles from the castle to here, up most of the way.
The name: You have to go to one place for info (the sign) and then another to find the actual cache. If that's not a Rum Do, I don't know what is!
Please rehide this cache with care. Thank you.
