Yep, snow kneeboarding really does exist, although you might have to do a bit of searching until you find a community that has embraced it wholeheartedly. (There are a few towns in Colorado, like Colorado Springs, that might be a good place to start.) Traditional kneeboards are built for water towing. The winter version of kneeboarding consists of a car or snowmobile hauling the boarder across a snowy field. Yes, this sport is as dangerous as it sounds. With great risk comes great rewards, which in this case means wild kneeboard rides. One of the pioneers of this sport is Grand Rapids' very own MI Barrel Makers. When he's not busy geocaching MIBM can be seen on the back roads of the surrounding counties honing his craft. He is known in the snow kneeboarding world as "El Conquistador Del Curso" for his many flawless runs. To find the cache, figure out what this means: "Calling all snowbirds! We're heading to Laughlin, NV!"
