This cache is on a recently opened trail operated by the Oregon State Parks. The trail starts near Eagle Creek at the parking area off of Sweetwater Lane and parallels the Clackamas Highway 224. The cache is a short hike down the wide gravel trail from the parking area.
The background image is a photo of one square of the mural An Evening on the Barlow Road, designed by Am Griswold and painted in 2009. This depicts some of the activity that may have happened along the Barlow Road not far from this cache location. This mural was removed due to repairs on the Napa building in Estacada and will be re-installed.
