This is another nice trail in the old Estacada Park area that parallels Estacada Lake and Clackamas Highway. The paved path provides easy access for bicycles, strollers and hikers. The cache is just off of the path. Parking is available at the end of SW Lakeshore Drive and at the Estacada Ranger Station.
Mossy eye of the needle holds the cache. Please cover better than your found it.
The background photo is of the Day on the Clackamas mural, designed by Karyn Drum and painted in 1997. This mural depicts some of the activities that go on now at the Clackamas River near this cache site. The mural deteriorated and was replaced with the Heart of the Clackamas mural.
