The Hobbit - Bard Mystery Cache

Bard served as a soldier in Lake-town. Bard was descended from Lord Girion of Dale, whose wife and child had escaped to Laketown when Smaug ruined Dale and took the Lonely Mountain. Noted for his grim face and spirit, he was an excellent archer. Bard was the slayer of Smaug; and eventually became King of Dale.
