The Geo(Race)rs Spawn Cache was made to encourage other cachers to get out and place new caches. The idea is simple. We placed a few caches in this one for other to take. Only take a cache container if you plan to place it. If you make a note on the cache page of a cache you placed that was taken from this container, we will add a link on this cache page. Feel free to also not on your cache page where you got the container. Please let us know if the inventory is lacking, and we will stop out and replenish the stock. The container started with 2 loc-n-locs, 2 bison tubes, 2 envelope caches, 2 magnetic hide a keys, and a single matchstick container. The FTF has choice of all the containers.
Dowagiac Woods is a 384 acre Nature Preserve in Cass County with access from Frost St. (just south of M-62). Dowagiac Woods is operated and maintained by Michigan Nature Association . This is a great place for hiking, plant discovery (50 species of wildflowers) and bird/animal watching. Another plus is no hunting, which is great during the fall.
