Geocache Description:

You are looking for a regular size ammo can hidden in the typical manner, just off the trail (less than 15 feet). Please replace as found, as it is so close to the trail.

If you are quiet, you can hear some of the nearby trees rubbing together in the wind. Dowagiac Woods is a 384 acre Nature Preserve in Cass County with access from Frost St. (just south of M-62). Dowagiac Woods is operated and maintained by Michigan Nature Association . This is a great place for hiking, plant discovery (50 species of wildflowers) and bird/animal watching. Another plus is no hunting, which is great during the fall. Theses caches were placed with the permission of the Michigan Nature Association; please visit their site for more information ( Michigan Nature Association ).
