Moved into an area with good reception, we`re hoping it will give the Teddy bears something to phone home with if their picnic overruns.

Retrieved from Box canyon overlook after 3 years of bad reception in the Saudi Arabian desert, we will recharge the battery and move it on to the UK when we go on holiday in the next few weeks.

Yep - it works. The cell phone operators here in Saudi certainly have no next generation network installed, but apparently it picks up signals across the border form US Army top secret equipment in Iraq. But now I must stop or the owner of the travel bug will lynch me for all those international calls on his phone bill.

I picked it up, but apparently there is no correct kind of coverage here in Finland, because it stayed silent like a block of wood. I'll bring it to Saudi Arabia to see if it works there.

The "head" of the family has also a right to hold this item and make calls with it. The phone is better than a MOKIA phone. 🙂

Made a quick call with the NGM to our far-away friends and jaksteri grabbed it soon afterwards.
