About This Item

This travel bug is in honor of my grandmother, Irene from Stanfield, Oregon who dearly loved to travel the world and would have been 101 years old this year. The bug itself is a turqoise-colored necklace pendant that once belonged to her. She was a happy lady so the smiley face sticker on the back fits perfectly.

Found in Mn many years ago and LOST it. It somehow got packed up with my things and traveled with me for thousands of miles through the American West before I moved to Hawaii almost 3 years ago. I recently just FOUND it!! This travel bug wants to go INTERNATIONAL!!!!

This travel bug has been through a lot! It is the list and found bug!! It's been packed up and lost through 6 moves, been through a divorce and a new marriage, rode with me across thousands of miles of explorations in the American west and flew across the ocean and is ready to find a new geocache home. Soon to be dropped off on an island in the middle of the Pacific. May she travel well and frequently from this point on. Sorry auntie for the long wait.

Well isn't this just great. Reading the story makes me snile and think of my grandma, and my wifes grandma who also likes to travel. This is our first travel bug, everything is in good condition. We will take it on a little journey to the Alexandria area this weekend. Many nice lakes up there. Hopefully this will see another country soon!! Thank you

This is the first TB I have ever seen. It will be transported to the minneapolis area this week, and weather permitting. It will find a new resting place.
