Current Goal

We are a fourth grade class at Carpenter Elementary School in Park Ridge, Illinois. Our teacher is Mr. Toren. We are studying the United States. Our travel bug’s name is Ruffles and he is a dachshund and would like to go all around the United States. In each state we would like Ruffles to visit interesting places if possible. For example: Any sports hall of fame, stadiums, the Statue of Liberty, the White House, Pearl Harbor, The Golden Gate Bridge, The Rocky Mountains, Niagara Falls, The Great Lakes, Appalachian Mountains, etc. We would really like to have pictures taken of Ruffles were he is. Thank you, and please take care of Ruffles for us.

Our travel bug is a dog. His name is Ruffles and he is a brown Dachshund. He has brown eyes and an orange collar. Ruffles likes traveling places. During this trip he would like to see a lot of interesting places in the United States of America!

I found Ruffles on 9/25/2005. I do apologize for not logging that I have found it sooner, however, circumstances beyond my control prevented me from relocating the travel bug. At the time I found this I lived in Illinois, not far from Tunnel Hill. I have since moved to Spring Hill, TN and have had this travel bug laying on my desk as a constant reminder of my obligation to rehide it. Today 1/17/2016 will be the day that I will rehide it. Will log bag on this afternoon with the location of the rehide.
