Allow Jeep Dog to live vicariously through this Jeep Travel Bug (sorry, you cannot win a Jeep product with this travel bug, but you can win the satisfaction of helping on the mission!). I would like a lot of photos with this bug, since it is being released the day before I deploy for a second time to Iraq! Your photos of this bug's journey will help the year pass quickly and give me images of our beautiful country and those who live there. I would like to have the Jeep go to the following places, all of which I have visited previously, and most of the following are in places I have actually lived:
#) All done with circulating among Heart of Texas caches and friends. Onward to new adventures!
2) Southern New Mexico: White Sands N.P. and La Luz.
3) California: Calico Ghost Town (near Barstow), Barstow-Dagget Airport, Sequoia N.P., Yosemite N.P.
4) Washington: Mt. Saint Helens N.M.
5) Alaska: Interior AK Dog Mushers Association (off Farmer's Loop in Fairbanks). Anywhere else, and lots of photos, would be greatly appreciated.
6) South Dakota: Mount Rushmore, Hill City, Keystone.
7) Kansas: VA Hospital in Leavenworth, KS.
8) Alabama: Fort Rucker, Army Aviation Museum.
9) Ohio: Canal Fulton, St. Helena canal boat (if it is not sunken again, if so, just the Canal)... I graduated from Northwest High School. Kent State University (I am a KSU alum).
10) Maryland: Baltimore's Inner Harbor, then the Irish Pub up on Charles Street (I am a Johns Hopkins alum).
All photos and adventures between all these places, and photos of our great country, will be greatly appreciated!
After all these places are visited, then the travel bug must catch me... if it can! I tend to move around a bit. When it catches me, and if this bug survives, then I will give it more adventures!
My daughter Sarah (3 years old at time of release) and I created this TB, and we are both tracking it.
